09.20.25-09.21.25 Pacific Islander Festival Association (PIFA) Outreach

The American Pacific Health Foundation (APHF) participated in the Pacific Islander Festival Association (PIFA) festival, providing free health screenings to the community.

PIFA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating and preserving the cultures of Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia while fostering community connection and educational opportunities.

Following our participation last year, APHF returned for this two-day festival to provide even more community support. Volunteers offered services including blood pressure, blood glucose, and Hepatitis B screenings. The event was full of energy, featuring numerous vendors, performers, and activities, and attracted a large number of participants who enjoyed the festive atmosphere while accessing health resources.

APHF thanks PIFA for hosting such an incredible festival and extends gratitude to all the volunteers who made this outreach possible!
