These leadership roles are open to undergraduate students and postgraduate (alumni) only.

Our team is looking to expand our leadership team and clinical volunteer base. Team members at all levels of leadership within APHF can pursue or join projects (e.g. improving outreach logistics, creating educational content, starting research projects) that benefit APHF and the services we bring to the greater community. This will be a minimum 1+ year volunteer commitment until May 30st, 2025. Use the table to learn about APHF's volunteer staff positions!​​​​​​

Program Intern (PI)

Open to passionate, community-focused individuals from the San Diego County community as well as current APHF Core Volunteers.

 

Support and learn from other staff members, in addition to managing the Medical Interpreter Program. Develop core leadership and project management skills that are applicable to many other roles across healthcare.

The Program Intern and Program Coordinator roles have a joint application. Submitting the following application can put you into consideration for both positions. Our team will extend offers to the position that best suits an applicant’s skills, experience, and interests. If you prefer one position over the other, please indicate your preference in your written response!​

 

Applications are due on May 3rd, 2024 at 11:55pm PT. All accepted applicants must be able to attend an interview between May 10-12, 2024. The exact time will be scheduled after applications close.
