Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions!
01
Are all services at APHF events really free?
Yes! All services at APHF events are completely free. We offer diabetes, Hepatitis B & C, cholesterol, blood pressure, vision, body mass index, bone density, and liver health screenings. We also have health education information available that is free to attendees!
*Must be over 18 years old to receive services.*
02
I do not have health insurance, can I still come to an event?
Yes! You do not need health insurance to attend an APHF event. At an APHF event, we are able to conduct a variety of screenings, including vision, cholesterol, blood pressure, and more! From there, we will be able to refer you to primary care services if need be.
03
What should I bring to an event?
Please bring someone who can translate for you if needed, a list of any prescriptions you may be taking, and comfortable/loose fitting clothing for ease of screenings. No insurance, identification cards, or other items are needed, but are helpful.
04
What if I don't speak English?
We always strive to provide in-house translation services at some of our events. Some of our events include volunteer interpreters who speak Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese, or Spanish. To make sure we can help you best, please bring a family member or friend who can translate for you. You can email us to request a specific translator!
