APHF educated community members on the transmission and development of TB at the Jackie Robinson YMCA in National City on September 1st, 2021. At the outreach, APHF volunteers partnered with Andrew Gonzalez from Champions for Health. It was a very successful community outreach. The location is optimal in size and convenience, and the weather was very cooperative, as a nice breeze was flowing through the rows of booths and made the experience very pleasant. APHF always appreciates the opportunity to join several organizations to provide health education to the public. We interacted with many visitors at our booth, and some members got advance registration for Hepatitis B and C screenings to be conducted virtually on September 26, 2021. We thank Dr. Afflalo and the organizers of the event. The proximity of Medical Center Pharmacy allows us to seek the services of competent Spanish translators alongside some of our Spanish-speaking team members.
