The Asian Pacific Health Foundation Board Meeting was conducted on February 16, 2020 at the residence of Dr. Danh Truong, Chairman. This was the very first time Dr. Truong welcomed all APHF team to his beautiful home, for several happy occasions:

The other co-chair is Dr. Richard Andrews of Hope Clinic in Houston.

  • We celebrated birthdays of four team members: Trinity Van, Kevin Lam, Katherine Chen, and Gian Dino

  • APHF recent move to a new office at 9225 Dowdy Dr, Suite 209, San Diego, CA 92126 in the Miramar area.

Dr. Kayla Giang presented the cumulative activities of APHF since 2017, the new volunteers and the financial status up to this point. She thanked the Board, staff and all volunteers for their donations in several forms: direct contributions, matched donations from staff’s place of employment, membership dues, Albertson’s gift checks, Amazon Smile rebates, and Ralphs’ grocery rebates.

Dr. Binh Tran summarized off-site activities of APHF in Los Angeles.

Thu Vuong, Director of Operations, gave a synopsis of the different groups’ activities with the Core Volunteer's Program coordinators and interns speaking on their projects. Nguyen Vo and Vivian Ngo, Program Managers, spoke for the Graduate Volunteer Program for Master’s, Pharmacy and Medical students. Vivian Ngo also spoke on the High School Volunteer Program with coordinator Annie Pang. The Medical Interpreter program was opened to all 3 programs to standardize the process at APHF outreaches.

We thank Dr. and Mrs Truong for their marvelous hospitality and the delicious party fare.
