01.27.2024 MEMO Health Fair

On Saturday afternoon, APHF staff and volunteers met at the Clark Middle School multi-purpose room to provide free medical education and free health screenings for hepatitis B, diabetes, cholesterol, vision, and hypertension. This health fair was hosted by Medical, Educational Missions & Outreach (MEMO) UC San Diego Chapter and well-attended by other health and wellness groups in San Diego.

APHF would like to thank again UCSD MEMO for inviting us to a meaningful health fair to reach more vulnerable populations in San Diego!

It was a very nice outreach with the M.E.M.O. group. APHF is appreciative of the volunteers showing in great numbers, providing great introduction of APHF screening services for new volunteers, especially extending a warm welcome to Dr. Jin Piao, pharmacist at Impact in San Diego. Phlebotomist Tyler Nguyen provided great help at the Hepatitis blood drawing station, along with other assistants.
