08.17.19 Team Bonding Summer Retreat

On Saturday, August 17, 2019- Sunday, August 18, 2019, the Asian Pacific Health Foundation (APHF) held the first summer APHF board retreat in Palm Desert, CA. The weekend event was held to reflect and recharge board members for the upcoming new leadership cycle. The main goal for the retreat was to strengthen the leadership bonding between current and new leaders and develop an effective team dynamic. This was done by enjoying a nice brunch together in Morongo Resort and Spa, then visiting a museum in Palm Desert. To wrap things up, board members cooked a delicious dinner together, followed by icebreakers and a gratitude workshop led by Tam Ho, Fundraising Manager, and Thu Vuong, Director of Operations to the end the night.

We hope that the APHF board members continue to grow and become stronger in unity.
