A Preliminary test training was conducted at the UCSD Shiley-Marcos East Campus Office Building in La Jolla, CA on November 7, 2019. This is the first step in training Asian Pacific Health Foundation staff eager to collaborate with the Alzheimer Disease Cooperative Study (ADCS) at UC San Diego led by Dr. Howard Feldman, Director. Among the ADCS group are Dr. Guerry Peavy, Kirsten Erickson, Anna Lu, and Chi Kim. From APHF:

Attendees were given the Montreal Cognitive Assessment sheets and were requested to give answers to the questions asked, pertaining to visuospatial figures and drawings. Points were given for correct answers. Discussion ensued on ways to grade and obtain correct assessment. A few more trainings will be necessary before the trainees can operate on their own.
