On Thursday, May 23, 2019, the Asian Pacific Health Foundation (APHF) held a social/networking mixer at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse in La Jolla, CA. This event was held to fundraise for a new bone densitometer so that we can resume performing osteoporosis screenings at our outreaches.
We’d like to thank all the APHF staff who attended and helped out our cause:
APHF Board of Directors: Dr. Gish, MD, Dr. Taylor, PhD, and Dr. Le, PharmD
Executive Board Members: Dr. Binh Tran, Kayla Giang, and Andrew Liu
Program Coordinators: James Cordero, Vivian Ngo, and Tam Ho
Program Interns: David Lam and Kevin Lee
Also, a special thank you to Tam Ho for coordinating the event and venue.
We raised approximately $60 as a result of the event. We hope that the APHF volunteers can continue to support our fundraising efforts in the future.
