Tôn Duy Trần, M.D., Aged 89, the last elder member of the Trần-Đặng's family, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024, surrounded by his family. Former President of the Vietnamese American Medical Association, Dr. Tôn is survived by wife Binh-Nhung,
sons Tony and Phong, and daughter Thảo and their families.
Tôn had a very fulfilling life, providing medical care for 50 years since his early days in Saigon, Viet Nam, then South Bend (IN) and San Diego (CA), loving everyone under his care,
while enjoying a lifetime of community health service, tennis and happy traveling.
The celebration of his life will be on Sunday May 12, 2024 at Peek Funeral Home, Room #3, 7801 Bolsa Ave., Westminster, CA 92683 from 10 am - 6 pm with tributes starting at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Pacific Health Foundation (APHF),
the non-profit health organization that he co-founded since 2001 in San Diego, CA.
